Travel, art, and architecture are Kate O'Connell's passions. Through photography, she captures the moments and memories of her adventures. Growing up on a cattle ranch in the North Dakota Badlands, Kate only discovered art museums, galleries, and outdoor festivals in adulthood. Later, a few friends encouraged the left-brained creature and patiently tried to tease out buried talent.  Kate's photography is characterized by strong composition, excellent lighting and a sense of story or emotion.

Kate works with the curator Claudia every third Wednesday of the month, before the 3rd Friday, which is Fort Myers Music Walk.  They rearrange new art that comes in to refresh member artist's art.  Every 3 months, they change out and rearrange the art that is hanging in ACT Gallery's over 2000 square feet of space!
