"The Crows View of Wonderland"
Terry Lynn Spry
Main Gallery – featuring Terry Lynn Spry
CROWS VIEW WONDERLAND
Wonderland is the adventure of oneself into nature and how we all view and see it differently. And in the end, we are watching or is something watching us. Hope you enjoy the adventure.
The "Monstrous Crow" is a character from Lewis Carroll's Through the Looking-Glass (the sequel to Alice in Wonderland), appearing in Chapter IV. It is a giant, black, terrifying bird described in a nursery rhyme that scares off Tweedledee and Tweedledum. The brothers flee to avoid fighting when they mistake a black shawl for the crow.
Terry Lynn’s paintings have been exhibited in national and local juried art exhibitions. Her work can be found in private collections across the country. In addition, her painting was in Artist Magazine issue December 2012. Currently her work is also exhibited at Wild Child Gallery. She graduated from Phoenix Institute of Technology with a degree in production art and studied under Nina Conner in Florida. Terry Lynn’s desire to pass on her passion and love for the arts lead her to teaching at the Alliance for the Arts since 2005. She considers painting to be “better than chocolate and kind of like breathing you just don't want to stop.
The exhibit continues through April 27, 2026.
