Future Exhibits



Join Arts for ACT Gallery, located at 2265 First Street in downtown Fort Myers on Friday, December 7, 2018 from 6 to 10 pm for the opening reception and Meet the Artists for December’s Fort Myers Art Walk.  This month, ACT Gallery will feature Gary Alan Hall in the main gallery and Yvonne Krystman’s art will hang in the White Gallery.   Also showing, New Works from our Co-op Artists!  
Main Gallery – Gary Alan Hall


Gary Alan Hall learned to draw as a child by watching his father and continued his artistic interests by working in the graphic arts industry where he learned graphic design and illustration. Additionally, Gary also worked for Art of the Olympians from 2006 until 2012 as artist liaison and acting curator. 

Gary has worked with various mediums over the years and currently favors acrylic painting. Drawing inspiration from illustrators, Gary’s work features bold human and animal figures on simple or abstract backgrounds, often reflecting a unique  "poster-like" quality.

Gary has shown his work in galleries and has also has participated in several juried exhibits such as Dark Arts 2018, 2D/3D and Art in Public Places at RSW airport.


In the White Gallery –  Artist Yvonne Krystman

WIND AND WAVES
Yvonne Krystman, brings a multi-disciplinary collection of works inspired by Floridian elements: Wind, ocean waves, sunshine, and hurricanes. On display will be new, mixed media pieces along with raku and traditional pottery. Also available, for the first time, will be samples of wearable art from art4wear.com, wearable art by Yvonne. Exhibits will include collections of 12x12 abstract works with 50% of sale price going to support Abuse Counseling and Treatment, Inc. (ACT).

Yvonne Krystman is a Cape Coral based mixed media artist, potter and photographer. Closing reception during Music Walk on December 21st from 6:00 to 9:00 PM with the artist present.
